A couple drops of water in transmission fluid... bad?
I was changing my transmission fluid in my manual t5, and I may have got a drop or two of water in the fluid. It was probably no more than just a drop or two, and I know that water isn't good for the transmission or the fluid, but do you think a couple of drops is going to hurt anything? Leave your opinion, should I even worry about it? should I change it just to be sure? should I get under the car and remove the plug and check it every now and then to make sure something isn't wrong? I figure if its going to be a problem, draining it probably wont do much I might need to get it flushed. Let me know what you guys think

Did some sweat fall off you into tranny or did u spill some thing? Literally "a drop or two" probably isnt going to hurt but I would say since a tranny & install cost much more than the fluid in it that I would change the fluid again & not thave that worry every time I hear a noise.

long story short I cleaned out a bucket and Im not sure but think a few drops of water stayed behind because I washed it with water. Didn't double check before putting the transmission fluid in the bucket. I will check it in a few days probably and if its discolored in any way i'll change it again.
