I had this rattling sound coming from my exhaust so I called around and finally took it into Midas. They lifted it up, shook the pipes for a while, and called me over. The one on the left came loose or the couplerdid and it was hitting/vibrating on the floor pan. This was the first time I've seen the underneath of my car, and I bought it used with this exhaust so I didn't know anything more than it was MAC and there were 2. He tightened the coupler and sent me on my way for $20. It still makes a clanging noise when I hit big bumps and as he simply explained they are slipons and they will always do that. That was yesterday. Today it started doing the rattling again and got progressivly worse as I ran errands. Is there a permanent solution to my problem? The hangers have rubber around them so he said he can't weld rubber. I'm pretty much a n00b when it comes to this kind of stuff, so I hope I've provided you with enough of the right details to diagnose my issue.
