Thinking of getting one. I really like the idea of the way it uses ALL of the studs on the towers instead of just two on each side. Question is, will it clear the engine cover? Also is it going to make a big difference in handling?

On the GT it should with no problem that I have heard of. The only problems I have seen are on the V6.

It wont do a damned thing for handling, but they are great for putting magnetic tool trays on and hanging the motor from when you change the k-member.

I don't know if it clears the engine cover.

So it is a case of "cool looks = wasted money" then, huh?

No, not really. Money is to take care of necessities and to make yourself happy (gotta make life somewhat enjoyable). So, if it looks good to you and you enjoy having it, then cool looks = money well spent. If you are looking for a performance gain, then it probably is a waste.
