I know lots of people have run this size drag radial on a 17x9, but how do they hold up in the long run?

I just got my tires and they look huge next to my 275/50 m&h tires. I'd hate to have to spend another $300 on rims.

Blah! I just said F it and ordered some 17x10 silver bullits from AM.

I ran that tire on a 17x9 Racestar and had good luck. Held up well and hooked up decently for a relatively short sidewall. I could cut consistent high 1.6 60ft times with them.

I'm sure it works fine on the track, aired down, but on the street it would have to wear out the center really fast at 25-28psi.

Good call. They'll probably look better on the wider rim.
