My rims are just polished aluminum. The rims themselves seem to just have some curb rash on them. Would brillo pads work on the rims? Or should I use sand paper?

I think I'm going to try the Plasti dip on the rims and caps. Atleast for a temporary solution. Plus I like the idea that if I screw up, I can easily redo it and get some practice.

Dont use brillo or sandpaper on the rims if they are polished. you will just scratch them all up. they need to be repolished to get them back to factory look. Same with the caps.

A decent rubbing/polishing compound and a buffer should do the trick.
