Bought my '07 on Dec. 23, 2006. Still has the original battery with 9K miles. Sometimes I go a week or more before I can drive it. When I first start to crank it, it is a little hesitant, especially if it has been a week or more, but after I drive around for 30 minutes +, it's fine.
I do make sure I turn everything off about a half mile before I pull into my driveway. I don't know if that helps, but it seems to help me.

My 06 has a born-on-date of 10-05 and still kicking strong. Never really had a problem with it. Car is parked in winter with the battery tender on it. During the summer it goes a week or two sometimes without being driven (due to weather) and is still strong as ever.

Now that I posted this...the damn thing will probably crap out though

Bought my '07 on Dec. 29, 2006. Still has the original battery with 40K miles. Sometimes I go a week or more before I can drive it.
I never turn the radio off before exiting the vehicle.

Bought my 06 in August of 2006, only a nice weather driver, only 37k miles. Also never used a battery tender, sits for 3-4 months. I go out and start ans run the car for 15-20 minutes every 2-3 weeks.
