Ford Mustang Crash Sets off Wild Chain of Events That End in Massive Carnage

After a Ford Mustang crashed into an SUV, things just got more chaotic amid multiple other crashes with a dog rescue thrown in for good measure.

Car crashes are an unfortunate yet quite common disaster that impacts many people on a daily basis – whether that be the minor inconvenience of a fender bender or a more substantial one involving injuries – or worse. Thanks to the prevalence of dash cams these days, coupled with the fact that everyone has a smartphone, we’re seeing more and more footage surface online depicting what are oftentimes wild, chaotic scenes of carnage. Even still, it’s going to be hard to top this absolutely insane Ford Mustang-involved crash that quickly turned into one of the more gripping pieces of footage we’ve seen lately.

This incident took place in Tustin, California, and it all started when a white Ford Mustang crashed into a white SUV on the highway. The action begins with a pair of friends who saw the accident and began filming it, but as it turns out, the scene wasn’t quite safe by any means. Rather, two other vehicles proceed to smash into the already-crashed ones before the friends can rush in and help the victims.

Right after that second crash, the friends run over to help rescue the SUV owner’s dog, which was reportedly riding up front with its leash on. However, the impact of the crash snapped the leash, as the poor pup was sent flying into the rear seat. Luckily, they were able to free him from the wreckage, and he appears to be ok, judging by what we can see in the footage. The clip also provides us with additional video taken from another angle, showing off another perspective of this startling incident.

Eventually, police arrive and manage to prevent more carnage from occurring, though they also simply pushed the Ford Mustang out of the roadway to keep anyone else from smashing into it. Somewhat amazingly, no one was hurt – even after a Hummer is seen speeding through the scene of the accident shortly thereafter, running over its fair share of debris on the way. Regardless, this is yet another great example of why it’s so important to pay attention when you’re out on the road – especially when visibility isn’t the greatest, as is the case in this night-time horror show.
