Tow Trailer, Run 10s, Drive Home… In that Order: Coyote Swap Alert

It just doesn’t get any better than this: A street driven, pump gas badass that’s unassuming and brings new meaning to the adage, walks softly but carries a big stick! This Fox-body coupe has the heart of a Coyote and tows a trailer to the track, snaps off a best pass of 10.75 @ 127 mph on 1.41 60-foot and then hooks up his trailer and drives home. How’s that for cool?

Shelby GT500 Swapped Fox-body Mustang Stomps the Dyno

Little is known about this ultra clean Fox-body coupe with the heart of a GT500, but there’s no missing the fact it’s one bad ride! It not only packs a GT500 motor under the hood, but it’s force-fed by a Lysholm Vortech 3.3L blower sipping on E85 and pushing it all through an automatic. We’re not even sure what it made on the pulls, but just look at that thing! Flawless motor, Weld rims and one heckuva motor swap! Yes please!

Mustang with a Mitsu Motor: Badass or Blasphemy?

Turbo Fox-Body Mustang With A T56 And An 88mm Turbo Runs 9.05@159

Not that I have anything against an automatic, but there’s something epic about wheeling a fast stick-car down the strip. It takes a ton of skill not only at the launch, but with each subsequent shift because after all, every shift is an opportunity to miss a gear and completely blow the run. And this incredibly difficult task only gets harder the faster the car is. So it should come as no surprise that we have huge respect for the owner of this turbocharged Fox-body who’s rowing the gears on the way to 9-ohs in the quarter!

Wolf in Fox’s Clothing: S197 GT500 Conversion Fox Body

Take one wrecked 2007 GT500. Take one super clean Fox body notch. The take virtually everything from the S197 except for the body and suspension. And you get this: a totally wicked sleeper built by Jason Hall of Mississippi. Oh, and did I mention that Jason did it with a friend outside under a carport? Yeah, we’ve seen a lot of Fox body Coyote swaps recently. But this takes it to another level.
