Default looking to buy

I am going to be looking to get a new car with in the next year I have a good list of what I will be looking at including the Camaro v6 only, FRS BRZ 86, Focus ST and the Mustang.

For the Mustang I will be considering a v6 or the ecoboost I have seen some of the issues with the ecoboost mostly 2015. My questions is should I avoid the 2015’s or was it more tuning issues and people pushing the car too far?

There are no "new" V-6s unless you find one languishing on the dealer's back lot. Within the next year, even those will be gone at close-out prices. What's available now is the Eco-Boost and the GT. Ford has announced a higher-performance Eco-Boost to be offered in 2020. Not sure I'd recommend the first iteration of that car. Give 'em time to work out the inevitable kinks. The FRS/BRZ/86 family has been plagued with many different mechanical issues. IMO, GM doesn't currently make anything I'd buy. I've owned too many to buy another.
