nevermind about the pin thing i got some. i do have a new question though. what did you do about the heat shield? did you cut it up? leave it off? or get a new one somewhere that fits? if so where did you get it? thanks.

I used heat shield material from Summit Racing. I had to make my own because the factory one was useless due to the ram air plenum. Here is the material I used:

thanks just ordered it. it should get here by the time it is done getting painted. did you have any trouble with the spacing between the fenders?

That hood is hot i live it a lot .... im thinking about getting one but its kind of down there on my mods list .... but keep up the good work car looks great i think its one of the best looking hoods on the market!

Do you have any problems with water getting into the air inlets? I see that the hood is functional, and dumps air on the airbox. With a cold air intake, I am worried about water dumping on the filter.
