How to add hp??????

RE: How to add hp??????
First off, DO NOT GO TO RPMOUTLET, do a search, bad service many problems for people on here. You probably wont get 50 RWHP added with a CAI, tune, pullies, x-pipe and CMDPs. Individually they might add up to 50 in gains but mods do not add like that.
For the CAI and tune, as state get it from Brenspeed or B ama. Very good custom tuners.

personally...im 17 and am have a gt coming in next week (according to the dealer) and i had a subaru wrx as my first car. i learned a lot in that car and how to handle it and am doing exhaust, wheels, tires, and body kit first off. the power is pretty good and i will do the power later. learn the car before you add power. and when you do start with brakes

RE: How to add hp??????
well, while were on the subject, i will be getting the C&L with SCT tune from brenspeed either this weekend or next. I can't decide if i want the street or racer package. I e-mailed them and they sent me a message back saying the only difference is the cosmetics and price, and that the power gains are equal. So should i just go with the cheaper one?

The first thing i would do is go to rpm outlet they got good deals on mods... i would get a cai, diablo tunner, charge motion plates, lakewood adj lowers to eliminate wheelhop cause it can cause tanny and rearend problems easy, trust me when i was 17 i had a 99 and whill hop killed my tranny, i just got a feeling you will be doing a lot of burnouts. plus lakewoods are cheaper but have great quality, then i would go with a full off road exhaust, 4.10 gears, hurst shifter, and then maybe some underdrive pulleys if you want, they would be my last mild bolt on. After these bolt ons you should be well on your way to running some good times like 13.6 @ 101 after you get your driving skills up to par, plus that's about 50 more ponies to the wheels on a good cool night.

people are running lower than that bone stock.
I would be embarrassed to say I ran 13.6 with all those mods......

06stangGT im in the exact same boat as you. I called brenspeed and they said that after you order the CAI they e-mail you for all of your cars information. I cant decide which CAI to go with. They are exactly the sameand they both give equal power gains.

The look is a ltitle different on the 2 versions of C&L, I believe that the intake is slightly bigger for the racer but unless you have FI you will not have any benefit.
They will either call or email as was pointed out.
13.6 is worse than many stockers....spend some more time around here before you start give advice. Next thing you tell someone is to add a turbonator or something!
