Need New hood with S/C?

Hey just wondering if you need a new hood when fitting a supercharger on a 07. For example do i need to get cowl hood or can i just keep my stock hood? Also reverse induction is prefered with s/c's right? Thanks!

stock hood will work fine

Some of the heat extraction hoods won't fit. Stock should be fine though.

vague which S/C? New lower motor mounts could solve most any clearance issues.

my question is for all superchargers. I just dont want to buy a new hood, then find out that my [insert brand] supercharger wont fit

and i have to buy another new hood

I concour.......the stock hood will accomodate any s/c setup. From what I understand, the Saleen s/c is the tightest as far as hood clearance is concerned, and I was able to fit mine under the stock hood without lowering motor mounts.
