Default Sportline springs

I am thinking about going with the sportline springs over the prokit. Is there anything else i should know about or anything else I have to buy or get done before and after putting on the sportlines? Thanks

you may or may not need a adjustable panhard bar, so do and some dont... look at your rearend after the install and see if it shifted it to one side. you will need a front alinement and to do that you need a camber bolt kit. I needed the panhard bar and my buddy who does front alinements slotted my fronts so I did not use the camber kit.

Steeda sells a kit too which is a lot more professional than the bolts. The bolts just BARELY worked for me and I have the Pro Kit. If I had gone with Sportlines I would have needed the heavier duty Steeda camber kit (which I have for sale by the way for $175 shipped.)

I have been thinking about lowering my car since I bought it a couple of weeks ago. I had Sportlines on a previous car and they were great. Is the panhard bar needed because of the live rear axle? I am only familiar with cars with independant rear suspensions.

Yes, the panhard bar centers the live rear axle under the car. When you lower it, the stock panhard bar can push the axle off center.

My car came with the Sportlines from the dealer with no other mods. The camber was -1.6 deg. and the factory specs are as much as -1.5. I have 28K mi. on my car runing with anywhere between -1.6 and -2.0 deg, and have no adverse tire wear w/ 255/45 18's. The added neg. camber helps with handling, and offsets some of the factory "push" (understeer). The rear is where your issues will be. You'll need adjustable panhard bar and LCA's to get things back into spec. You'll also have to eventually upgrade your dampers as the stock ones can't handle the added spring rate of the Sportlines, and will blow out in short order. I have a aset of Sportlines for sale if you're interested. I went with coilovers.
