Where would you recommend purchasing a good pair of clear corner lens for the front and rear of our S197's?

I want to get good quality ones, because I've heard people bought ones that fog up or get condensation behind/in them?

And would you recommend smoked or clear on a Satin Silver GT? I'm leaning towards clear.

I got both mine from stangmods.com. Great service. Bulbs from http://www.xenonmods.com/silverbulbs/

Howarmat went through 2 pairs of ebay ones before getting the stangmods.com ones. They're a bit more but I haven't had any complaints and haven't seen anyone make complaints.

I think clear will look good. If you going to smoke/blackout every light then by all means get smoked. The ones from every website, unless you get the jegs ones which aren't fully clear, are from the same place. Get the ebay ones. Its russian roulette with them some peoples ebay ones are great some arent. Then some peoples clears from a legit website are great and some arent.

Stangmods.com sells the fronts for $99.95 and the rears for $39.95...that's a good price?

Xenonmods.com/silverbulbs sells the3157 and 194bulbs for $12.95/pair...that's all I need?

I've read how to remove the wheel well black cover to install the fronts...do the rear lenses just pop out or how do you replace them?

As for the bulbs, you'll need 1 set each of 3157 and 194 for the fronts. The rears are 194's if you want them amber or you can ebay them to get red LEDs to keep the same color.

The rear lenses just pry right out. Just be careful not to scratch the car while you pry. I think I pryed from the back and they pop right off.

Is the all-clear lense and bulb look legal or will it fail motor vehicles? Some websites sell ones that have the egg yolk look stating you will not be pulled over for having these lights installed because they are SAE/DOT approved...I don't know what SAE stands for...maybe STUPID *** EGGS?

They are legal because they light up the correct color. Take a look at a lexus sometime, a lot of them have clear lenses and just yellow bulbs. These are still yellow bulbs when they light up.
