I had someone recommend putting dielectric grease around the bottom of the bulb socket (on plastic part - not actual bulb!) to aid in transferring heat so the plastic wouldn't melt. Sounds good in theory, but I'd worry about it getting on the bulb.

 

Aren't H10s the same size as the 9145s? I believe I've read that somewhere...
