Rain will get in but I live in So Cal; it never rains California! Seriously though, I don't think a little water on the engine is going to hurt anything.

Do you have any problem with the hood at high speed. Does it lift or vibrate? if so at what speed?

I do get a little flutter at 80.
The mirrors are really easy to install, just 3 nuts to remove the stock ones, remove the guts, replace them in the new mirrors and reinstall. Probably a 2 on a scale of10 difficulty.
