I really like the retro look, however, the real function of these isn't really needed on our cars, nor is it needed on a basic GT. A heavily modded car that you bring to the track every weekend, sure, but for my daily driver, not so much.

so, they look sexy,I love the old school look,that's really why i bought them, i'm pretty sure my hood sint going to fly off anytime soon

Thanks for the compliments. I know my hood wont fly off but I love the look and who knows, I am going to make the car for the track and one day I do want a light hood so some day they will be needed. I see it as I saved money by getting the real thing now insted of having to get them down the raod.

07thorobrd, I have the c-series fiberglass hood with hood pins. My local body shop painted the hoodand drilled the holes,he said it was simple. Actually they have drilled two different c-series hoods for me.
