Found 4 SVT alloys off an 08' GT500 Shelby...
... on ebay and won the auction. They're factory alloys, 18" x 9.5" and come with the stock center caps, supposedly only saw 200 miles and are inexcellent condition (we'll see). I paid $775plus change including shipping. I'm kinda stoked since a new set of 4 would have ran over $1200 and I never really cared for the stock 18" fan blades on my Stang. I elected the SVT's over the less expensive chrome knock-off GT500's being offered since I've kept my Stang sort of "subdued".
Now I'm trying to decide what make and size tires to put on them. Any recommendations (may still want to go with an all-season but since it's not my DD it's not a must) would be appreciated.
Time to pick up some new bands for the TPMS sensors... I'll definately post some pics whenever I get them on. I'm also getting quotes from body shops to paint my rear window louvers. The stealership upped their quote to $215!!! Frickin' robbers...

You could go with the same tires offered for the GT500, I believe they are the goodyear F1 supercars 255/45/18 front and 285/45/18 rear. But since they are the same width front to back I would just put 285 all the way around so you could rotate them.

Since you aren't supercharged and wish to maintain a subtle appearance, I'm going to suggest 255/45's all around. For a 285 street tire in front duty I'd rather see 10" or slightly wider wheels (not knowing what it might take in terms of offset to fit without rubbing).
A further plus with the 255's is that there is far more to choose from in that size (33 hits in high performance summer/high performance all-season and up - over at Tire Rack, anyway) than there is in the 285/40's (only 6), and I'm not at all comfortable suggesting that you run two different makes/models of tires as your normal setup.
Edit: if price isn't a big obstacle, either of the Yokohamas (Advan Sport or Advan S4) are each up at the top of their respective categories, though the S4 is not available in 285/40.

Thanks Norm.
I've decided on the Goodyear F1 All Season since I do hit some northern foul weather on occasion.Being a northerner at heart, I can't seem tobring myself to buysummer tires plus the price is right and they seem to have excellent ratings for an all-season.I'll be putting 255/40's on the front and 275/40's on the back.
