Why will you have to upgrade the brakes? The wheels will fit your stock brakes

the regular ones that come with the shelby gts and such not a really big fan of the deep dish ones. from what i hear the on the 18" the caliper will rub in the inside of the wheels spokes so to clear that you have to get the gt rotors or a spacer but i would rather have the gt brakes since it just changing a bracket for the caliper and putting the rotors on there.

this is the style that i like, was looking at trying to find the color that is used on the bullit edition mustang but no one seems to have them and the dealer probably wants a mint for them.

high five [sm=smiley20.gif]. I have a set just sitting here... waiting for tires... ugh!!!

although I'll admit, I was also interested in the polished aluminum ones from ford...

18" aftermarket DD rims clear.
18x8.5" 50mm offset OE Ford GT Flangeless Bullitts
will notclear the V6 brakes. You need to know what
you are talkin bout before giving advice. (He says to
the newbie with 2 posts) Sorry but someone else did
the exact same "oh they will fit" spechiel.
I have the rims and a V6. I tried one onand guess what,
the GT brakes need to be put on before the rims will clear
the caliper inside by the mounting flange. You will also need
steering stops.

Straight from the Ford 08 accessory catalog:

Note: For vehicles with 16" wheels from the factory:
-installing 17" x 8" wheels, use steering stop 4R3Z-3932-BA
-Installing 18" x 8.5" or 18" x 9.5" wheels, use steering stop 6R3Z-3932-CA

For vehicles with 17" wheels from the factory:
-installing 18" x 8.5" or 18" x 9.5" wheels, use steering stop 6R3Z-3932-CA
