HID Light Question?????

Default HID Light Question?????

I havea quick question. i saw on ebay for some hid headlights for like 20$and all i have to do is swap the hid lights their selling for my stock ones and it will work fine. but then i see like whole kits for sale on ebay for like 150$ and i dont know what to do. can i just buy the bulbs and swap them or do i have to buy the kit. btw if it matters, i have an 07 v6 stang. here are the links to the bulbs and the kit

I think the bulbs are a drop in, but I think that you will get the results you're looking for with the kit. The new Mustangs with H.I.D. have special headlight wiring that the others don't. If you do decide to go with the bulbs, I'd make sure that the wattage is not higher than your stock ones. Otherwise, you're asking for trouble.

You would most certanly need a kit. The HID lights need some extra power for them to start. The bulbs you've found is probably just replacement for the bulbs in the kit.
