Default Shelby CS6 Hood

Does anybody know where I can pick up this hood for cheap. I can only find it for 850-900. And that seems kinda steep to me for some reason. Does anybody agree or am I just turning into my dad?

I would probably guess anywhere from $500 - $800, depending on how much prep time is required.

I am getting my front GT500 front bumper cover, Trufiber Venom Hood (involves blending the paint into the fenders), & GT500 rear spoiler painted for around $1300.00. I am going to do all the all the body replacement work myself except for the hood. They are going to paint/clear the underside of the new hood first while off the car, swap it our for my stock on, get everything aligned properly, and then do their thing.

The Shelby hood requires a lot of prep and a nearby resto Mustang shop charged $1200.00 "plus" materials, not including the hood. You might consider a Cervini hood in a different style. They require less prep and fit much better.
