I am debating doing a carbon fiber hood and trunk from deft racing, but I have a few questions if someone can answer...car is daily driver, no racing, some aggressive street driving...

1. Will a carbon fiber hood over a stock 4.6L (CAI added) hold up in Texas (mid 90s to mid 100s few weeks a year, as well as freezing a few weeks a year)? Would it last me for the reasonalbe life of the car, barring accidents?

2. Are the scoops on these true scoops and, if so, does it matter if my car isn't garaged (parked outside)? And if so, does it hurt the engine to be driving in rain/snow/etc.?

3. Would a body shop be able to put my windshield washer jets onto the carbon fiber hood?

4. Finally, will they hold up under opening and closing? Hood mainly for oil changes, etc., however trunk would be much more often due to errands...
