Default brake caliper paint/bullitt grille?

would it be okay to use black caliper brake paint on the satin surround on the bullitt grille?

I like the grille but not so much a fan of the satin surround..I want a stealthier appearance ,so the black paint would do fine.

All I do is sand it down a little bit then paint it straight up,correct?

I believe the caliper paint is an epoxy paint made to withstand heat and chipping. It also can be rather thick and has a limited working time. I would use a normal automotive spray paint (Duplicolor or similar) for what you want to do.

I've used that semi-gloss from Krylon on plastic.Get some adhesion promoter for the plastic so the paint doesn't flake off.Scuff it with some scotch brite and use a tach cloth to remove the fine gritty particles or blow it off with compressed air.

Default sem paint

sem makes a really nice trim paint, is a semi-flat black, would match perfectly, scuff and shoot. duplicolor has the same stuff, but personally i would stay away.
