Unhappy Driver Door

My girlfriend backed into my driver door with her car...

Is there any cheap solution? It's just the metal on the outside no other damage and some man told me that I could get a skirt? Anyone know what he's talking about? Where I could get one and how much would it be?

He meant outside skin.
Labor intensive and for a pro only.
Some welding is required.

If you could locate a used door shell for around $300, you're better off.

Also, let a pro look at it, you might not need a skin after all.
Just repair it.

Oh, and dump the girlfriend... joke.

Most people have a $500 deductible, witch is stupid unless you have a poor driving record (witch is also stupid).
So for a dent on a door, you're not gonna get squat.

Of course, some pictures would help for us to to help the dude.

Definately get some "I'm sorry" time from the g/f. I'd make it twice or 3 times a day for the next 6-12 months.

Oh, and see about getting the door fixed, too...

If its not very bad you can pop it out for the time being until you can get it fixed (of afford to if need be).

...and that's why my girlfriend is not allowed to park in the garage!
