Hey, I have a question. When I ordered my 2008 GT I was not aware that the HID headlamps and interior mood lighting options were available.

What does it take to switch out/add these options. Parts? Procedure?

I dont know how much it would cost for the mood lighting, but you can buy an aftermarker HID kit for $155 from retro-solutions who is a vendor here. I have their 5000K Digital 35W bi-xenon kit. Buying the factory HIDs would probably cost around $600 and would be a much more difficult install. The retro solutions kit can be installed in less than an hour with a 10 mm socket, 8mm wrench or socket, and a screwdriver.

Factory HID's is around a $750 option and the mood lighting is about a $400 factory option. The best thing to do is to go after markit of both and save a ton of money.

if you want the factory hid's, you'll have to fork an additional fee for adding the security system.

the ambient lighting, as great as it is, i find my button to get stuck a lot, only 7 colors, not infinite like the iup dash.
