Newbie needs help with wheel setup.
Well ive been looking for a pair for a longtime. The FR500 wheels seems the best fit..They are cheap and sexah.. What I need help is with the tire selection. I want my stang to look staggered like in the pics below

I have the lowering springs already.I want the widest possible tires in the back. What do you think the tire sizes were on those cars?Id want mine to be like the red stang.I want my tires wider in the back and smaller in front,ya know the whole "classic" look..When some people buy wheels they dont do the right tire size and it looks funky when theres a crease between the rim and the chasis. What would you guys suggest?
Thank you.

Are the FR500's 9.5" wide? I can't recall. Based on the rim width, you can go to most any tire site such as tirerack and find what tires will fit (safely) on your rims. I have 275's all around on my 9.5 rims and still have room. If I had to do it again I'd go 255's up front and 285's rear. To hell with front-to-back tire rotation!
