Thats not silver paint, that is the color of what a clean caliper looks like. The kit comes with a spray cleaner that does a good job of getting them clean. The paint has a self leveling element to it so you do not need to prime the calipers. It takes about 3 coats to get a nice smooth and clean paint job. Looks Good Chris!

Cutter is exactly right. Took 3 coats (and then some touch up after they got nicked when I was changing the pads. It made it a lot easier by doing the rotors and pads at the same time, that way I didn't have to tape anything off.

I just sprayed on the cleaner, wiped it off, hit them with a little steel wool to clean them really good, blew them with some compressed air to remove any dust, and then painted them with 3 coats of the paint. They give you plenty of paint in the kit too. I used less than 1/4 of it, so I have plently left for touchup!

KC, they definitly get lost a little behind the rims, but that's the way I wanted it. I like the more subtle look and I think the mustang lettering sets them off really nicely

bullitt2086 owns an 08 Bullitt, which I believe does have painted calipers. Thus the confusion.

TWOKOOL man.
That looks awesome with those rims (love them by the way).
I went with the Dupli-color kit also, but went for the Red for that POP factor. Great kit, highly recomend it. I did shoot mine with 3 coats of Hi Temp clear to prevent flaking.
