How much of a gap IF you used the original V6 fender liners?? A picture would be great.

Also how did you deal with the Isolator(the styro fom piece) that interlocks on top of the big styrofoam piece.....did you trim the V6 one down or get the GT one????

Thanks in advance

There's about 1-2 inch gap in certan areas at the bottom. All you have to do i shave off the square peice that says "V6" so its all flat.

It is best to go get the GT fender liners and all pieces to go with the conversion. You can make it work by going around it, but it was designed that way for a reason. I found dirt getting up inside the fender so I got the GT fender liners and it stopped.

The GT foam isolator was fairly inexpensive also.

Default Thanks I traced it out

I traced it out on cardboard too big of a gap for me with the snow up here.

I bought a set of aftermarket liners for 11 bucks each to use while the Ford parts come in.

The aftermarket ones are a different material, after my Ford parts come in they will be up for grabs cheap.

Somebody that has the V6 liners could just trim them and add the part to the V6 Ford liners to fill the gap. install two srews and washers to attach them to V6 liner then attach other edge to GT cap holes
