What's the best way to remove the antenna ball?

I would say use the back end of a hammer thats how I did mine and yeah you might want to tape it cause I ended up having to go running after it once it shot across the room. If done carefully you might not need to paint it... although I wasn't to careful I used a table power saw and it chopped through it rather then cut.
