235/30/20 & 265/30/20-will these work?
I have opp to purchase a set of staggard wheels. Here are dimensions.
The tires are 235/30/20 & 265/30/20
I got him down to $500 for wheels and tires brand new. Right now I have the stock 06 GT Bullitts on them 235/55/17 and they are due to be replaced- got 30K out of them. I can purchase these wheels and tires for less than it will cost to replace just the stock Pirelli's. Will I have any issues with this? I don't know jack about offset and lowering. I am going to take it to Discount tomorrow to have wheels put on. The threads fit, but what else do I have to check? Thanks.

The offset on the stock wheels range from about 45-50 mm but since you're not going too much wider than a typical ~35 mm offset will probably be ok.
The tire OD should be as close to stock as possible unless you have a tuner to correct the speedometer.

Just be prepared for a lot rougher ride. The aspect ratio (side wall height) of the 235/30-20 tire is less than 3" and the 265/30-20 is just over 3"; so there's not much rubber to cushion road imperfections compared to your current set-up which has over 5" of side wall. Also, from the appearance point, the stock tire height (diameter) is about 27-1/2" and your new tires will be about 25-1/2" and 26-1/4", respectively. Just something to think about.

Nuke,
I have a tune from Brenspeed. I thought I would contact them and have them update my tune. I like the wheels, so I can change the tires for a better size in future. They do look a little thin to me. I guess I have to wait and see how they look on my car. Thanks for help.
