black chrome
My 2 cents.
Only soap and water should be used to clean them. I use soap and water and sometimes a non abbrasive pure carnuba that is watered down. There are currently 2 methods used to create Black Chrome, I have used both.
Windex == ruined wheels, black chrome or chrome. This will slowly but surely eat the topcoat. They may make them look good initially, but imagine skimming off that topcoat - bad news!
There are companies that make "chrome cleaners" and "chrome polishers", but will they buy you new wheels when they take off the coating?
