yeah, it is a great looking grille but WAY more effort to install than one might think.

thanks. i'm glad it's done. this piece caused me more headache than the styling bar i installed last weekend. there was an issue with the instructions.

It does look great, but it is crazy to require that much modification to make it fit.

What styling bar did you install, as my CDC went on very easily?

I got it from AM. The box said Stack Racing, BUT it came with no instructions so i went to the AM website and downloaded the installation instr for their styling bar. these were instructions for a different brand which had me first saw away 2" of foam inside the door shell and by the time i figured out they were wrong and this bar actually installed 4" in front of that one, to the seatbelt anchor, not to the window rail,...man, i was really ticked off. i eventually did some web surfing and found the CDC light bar instructions which had the same brackets as what i have. i still don't know what brand i got. it came out nice though and looks factory, so i am happy, just lost a couple hrs out front trying to figure out the brackets, and removed the foam for nothing.

well, the epilogue to this story is that over the summer somebody bumped my car and cracked one of the foglight bezels on the grille, so my body shop ordered another grille. They slapped it on just out of the box and now my foglights are pointing so high they are not really useable and other cars flash me for using high beams if i have the fogs on instead of my headlights.
i have the adjustment screws cranked all the way of course, but the design of the grille is just way too far off to work correctly without modification.
aw crap, i no longer have the time to screw with it, so it's gonna stay like that.
i really don't recommend this product.
