Default Aftermarket ram air hood vents

Does anyone make vents that can be installed on the stock hood? I like the look of the Cervinis 05-09 Concept Hood (#1176), but it is only available in fiberglass. So, I want to have a body shop install a couple of vents to achieve the look of the Cervinis Concept Hood.

what's wrong with fiberglass ? and I can't say Ive seen anything like that for sale on any site. Might want to ask a shop that deals with metal fabrication to make some for you

Are you going for looks or function? because I dont think that these really have much function, probably not worth it cost wise.

I am going for both looks and function. I absolutely hate the look of the stock hood. I know that Cervinis is the best in the field of aftermarket fiberglass parts, but I have heard some horror stories about fiberglass products, and I just don't want to take the chance. My painter also tells me there is more prep work and costs involved with painting fiberglass hoods. I want either a steel or aluminum hood, or modify my stock hood. I was considering a shaker intake system, but after doing some research it appears that I would be spending alot of money for something that really is more about looks than function.

I have heard horror stories about fiberglass fit and finish issues, causing more labor hours for prep.

If you ask the people on these forums on what hoods they bought and how much prep work and if they had fitment issues you would aleviate that fear. If it makes you feel better I've had no issues whatso ever with my hood fitment, and as far as prep work, you don't do it your self. the body shop does. and if you go to a good shop you don't have tot worry about anything. I would figure the price to paint it would be around $ 500.
