Default doing some painting, want to help?

ok so i am doing some painting... mainly in the engine bay and i need some advice/ help...

i know the basics of painting as i have done it before but not on some certain parts...

so what i am painting is my radiator cover... silver and continue my black stripes over it to finish it off... i know how to paint this...

my tubing in my engine is all getting switched over to electric blue like my bbk cai... so i am painting my fuze box cover electric blue, the cai housing, i am also painting that resevore right by the radiator cover electric blue... my cai is chrome along with the strut tower brace... so the theme in the engine is the electric blue and the 2 chrome pieces...

NOW what i need help on is i want to paint my intake manifold electric blue but i was wondering how i would paint this... high temp paint needed?

and also should i paint my radiator cover electric blue with the rest, or go with my plan of painting it silver and continuing the stripes? i think the all electric blue will look cool, what do you guys think

o and also someone o here has there fire blanket on the hood of their car painted red... how do you do this and what paint do you use, i would love to paint this blue to... thanks guys

I like the theme of continuing the exterior colors onto the radiator cover.

I think you could use high temp spray paint. I used high temp paint first, then decided the color didn't match enough, and painted regular paint over it. It's only been a week (including a track day) and no problems yet.

I taped off some of the tubes, disconnected others, and covered the rest of the engine bay with plastic to paint the manifold. Of course taking the whole thing off to paint would probably be the "right" thing to do.

You could try some fabric paint. I saw some leather paint at Auto Zone. Might look good for a while. Don't know how durable it would be though. I'm sure it would need a touch up occasionally.

i thought of that... but is the blanket absorbable enough for that application?
