Cool, it'll be neat to see someone try this with a different color. Orange?

The DIY, only cost about $8.00

I remember seeing that because I was looking at the carbon fiber ones. It was MACarbon i believe that redid exotic car's steering wheels. You might wanna look into them, maybe they make something for stangs too.

Now that i think about it, since they do only exotic cars it will probably more expensive lol. Anyways my intentions were good! Honest :P

Of course! Didn't mean for it to sound like I didn't appreciate your input.

Is this something you've done recently or is this an old mod from way back when?

Fifthwind,do you have to remove the steering wheel or the air bag to do that
? Or just the inserts by themselves ? Thanks

Just the inserts.

Hey fifth question for you.
Is there any way you can help me find the part number or link for these pieces?
I would like to have a spare set just in case I decide to go back to stock or if
I manage to mess these up.

Thanks

I never could find OEM replacements, but in the event that you HAVE to, they have every color plus the original brushed aluminum at Moss Muscle here: http://www.mossmuscle.com/Shop/ViewP...16&SortOrder=4

In fact, if you're lazy and money is not an issue, you could just buy the red ones for 50 bucks and be done with it.

Yep, going with orange.
Question for you though, im pretty sure the inserts just pop off but i don't want to wind up snapping them. Do they just pop off?
