Should I Powdercoat or Paint Wheels?

Should I Powdercoat or Paint Wheels?
I'm thinking about doing this to go with the black and blue theme that I've planned. The wheels I have now are completely screwed on each rim...they've been curbed quite a few times by the previous owner, so I'm planning on killing two birds with one stone.
I'm debating if I should have them powdercoated or painted.
I've heard that the powdercoating process can degrade the strength of the wheel. The Steeda ULs I have right now are pretty strong already, but I wouldn't consciously do anything that would hurt them.
The other question I have is cost...what am I looking to see here?
I'm leaning toward painting at the moment, but I'm really not sure what I want to do.

either one you do, theres no going back...if u paint them, it will be cheaper than powdercoating but the risk of chipping is greater than powdercoating....if u powdercoat, , would be more expensive but the color would be stronger....as far as weakening, shouldnt be a big deal since companies have been powdercoating wheels for years....
