I want to install a set of hood pins but all the common ones I see use the top rad supports for the mounts. Problem is that I'd have to drill through the ram air, and I'd need like a 9" pin.

Has anyone installed a pin kit on the sides of the ram air on a hood like this? Can you direct me to a website?

Take a look at the WMS Stealth hood pins or Ring Brothers hood pins. I've used both on my car. The WMS mount under the hood so the scoop isn't an issue and they open when you pull the hood release inside the car. I recently switched to the Ring Brothers pins and they mount in place of the outer bump stops.
