Default Directional Turn Signal Mirror (arrow)

I have been looking at subtle mods for my 07 stang. I want people to have to ask me if I modded something or if Ford just added a cool new option. I think the side view mirror arrow turn signal looks nice. Kind of gives it a classy feel.

The problem is it doesn't seem like a well-known mod so I can't find too much info on it. Ive googled around and cannot find any videos or even one customer review (mainly because the search terms conflict with the popular Directional Turn Signal Mirror mod, the light you can see from the front of the car). I want to know if it actually works and if so, how difficult is it to install? Anyone have this mod? Also, what do you think of it? Would it give you a bad impression to see this on a stang?

I think its a smart idea but something about it looks dated. Seems like it would fit in better back in the 80's.

They first came out with these on the F-150s several years ago. Since then other car manufacturers have been coping the idea. It is a cool idea and could possible cut down on some accident situations.

That is a really cool safety feature. My mom's 2001 Expedition had this as well. Have you thought about these?

I thought this too is a very subtle mod that would also be a good mod safety wise when you find yourself in traffic...

Thanks for all of your comments, its nice to hear your opinions. MadStang40 yes I have thought about those too. I wouldn't mind having those at all. The only thing that would make me prefer the one with the arrow in the mirror is because it's a mod I can see while I'm driving. I think it would make the car even more fun to drive at night.

07Stang love the car. Looks identical to mine

I have these. They are awesome. Safety wise, this is a great improvement. Changing lanes, people actually see me now.

This is a relatively easy Mod. The hardest part was getting the wire through the side of the car through the weather tight boot. Took some time but patience was the key.

I would highly recommend this type, but if your thing is the directional arrow, go with it, whatever makes you happy.
