What’s the problem?
Hi all,
My 2005 Mustang convertible is giving me grief. On Friday the automatic shift was stuck in park. However, today when I jiggled it, it shifted into drive. But every time I put it in park - it’s a pain to have to keep trying to get it into drive. And who knows how long before it stops completely? So I thought maybe the brake light switch? Then I looked at the lights and something is wrong. (I had the electrical panel replaced about four years ago - the roof leaked and totally ruined it. But things have been fine. The electrical system in my car is quirky but the lights being out is dangerous. I am glad that I checked them.) My right headlight is out - by that may just be a coincidence. The left headlight is fine but the left back & rear blinkers won’t work. The hazard lights don’t work and the brake lights are out. The horn works fine and the blinkers etc, are fine on the dashboard - I had NO idea they weren’t working. I don’t know about the reverse lights. But on the left - the running lights in the rear - two of the three bulbs are out. It can’t be all a bulb issue. Anyone have any ideas? I’m not saavy enough to know what’s wrong and I’m at the mercy of the repair shop. Any help or thoughts would be greatly appreciated!
