I've own a bunch of convertibles including Mercedes SL's and a CLK Cabrio. The Mustang is a fun car to drive, gets lots of looks and is the best "bang for the buck" out there. I traded an '02 T-Bird on my Pony. The T-Bird was OK, but the Mustang is way better. Ford has done a good job on this car.

Only 2 words.......BUY ONE.

You definately won't be disappointed. The VW cute factor went out a month after they arrived on the market like many foreign cars. Is that why people buy them because they have a CUTE FACTOR? I bought my Mustang because I owned a V6 before and had great luck with it so I decided to get one with more power. I am glad I made that decision. Put a little mod like a CAI and tune on these and they become rockets. Besides, they are very comfortable to drive on long trips.

Count me in for buy it. I have 5800 miles on mine on a 150 mile trip with some stop and go and crusing at 65 to 75 avg. 28-29 mpg regularly. Went on a 5 hour trip south with out getting off the highway and got 31-32 mpg at 75 to 80 mph. If you go with the vert the back is easy to get in and out with the top down.
