I am thankful to have found a tuner who has a passion for the new mustangs. He has been doing SOHC and DOHC 4.6's and 5.4's for years now, and is about to trade his 02 WS6 Trans Am in for a car just like mine. The benefit to me is that he has the resources to do his plans for the car (includes a motor swap to a 5.4 DOHC motor which he allready has and a sungle turbo setup). Which means by the time that I'm ready to add Forced Induction to my car, he will allready know many of the bugs with these cars just through his own experience, instead of using my car as a test mule.
We are all lucky to still have you will us, as individuals such as yourself, CK, soul, and many others who continue to try to push the envelope ultimately become invaluable fountains of information for all of us here at MF. Good to know that you are OK.

Most of you will know my car from the picture and I left the board because of some flaming that people didn't have the whole story about what had happened. 1st to address the speeding ticket the gun was checked and found to have had a problem and the ticket was dropped. I wasn't trying to beat anything I did. Oh yeah I run the car from time to time but not on this day.
The Company is FC Customs out of Springfiels ,IL. After dealing with them for about 9 months blowning 3 engines we finally hit on one that ran and I mean good. The engine was forged .020 and I had them back it down to 430rwhp so I would have no more problems. The custom made tons of parts because the 8 ribbed belt kit just wouldn't stay on he car.
Broke 6 belts then they thought they had it fixed. The car had been driven 140 mile after I left FC when I was coming down an on ramp going to a shoot with two other groups going to help following. I heard a slap then a roar and fire blew about 20ft in front of the car then back in on me so I hit the brakes opened the door and bailed out. Got feet legs and hands burned with a flash burn on my face and took in way to much smoke then hit my head on the road getting out. Happened 3 weeks ago almost back to normal. Just have some vision problems now and then. Keep in mind I had close to $60,000 in this car after all their mistakes. Now I know!
Before Pic.
Blower belt had lost two ribs and they think caught a fuel rail and broke. After.

I'm now have this car built from Bash Performance in Florida. Should be done early May. They have already started will let you know how it goes. This model in the same yellow and black as shown. Steve Bash seem great to work with and has agreed to bring the car to me in IL. Hope this all goes better.

Very sorry to hear that skycam. I read what you had to say about your car a few months ago and found it very interesting. Even if they blame fuel rails its still their fault for chosing a bad product. They should know the car is safe when they hand you the keys. What if you were doing 120+ which isn't highly unlikely and the belt blew. Imagine that. Well good luck to you with what seems to be a much more experienced mustang tuner. lesson to us all.
I remember the post you had a while ago. The people that flamed you should have known the facts before they judged you. I'm sorry to hear what happened to you. That must have been scary as hell. That shop had no clue what they were doing. It's a miracle that you weren't killed or other people weren't hurt.[sm=signs003.gif] with your lawsuits. Hopefully no other fellow mustang owners will take their mustangs to that shop and have to sacrifice it in the name of their testing.
Good luck with your new Bash mustang and keep us up to date. I really want to see some pictures of it when its done!

Holy **** airfoil, I am glad to hear that you are alright!!!! That looks brutal. Sorry about your loss but cars can be replaced... people can't
For you guys that have left the forums and have tried to leave it in the past, please don't. I realize that there are ******** out there that have nothing better to do than flame people on the internet. It's guys like you that make the forums worth reading giving us tips on what to do. Screw the flamers... that's all I can say
