If you haven't done this - do it now!
Pulled the GT out of storage and put it to the road a couple weeks ago. It's the first time since I bought it and only had a few miles on it. I was really disappointed with the throttle response so say the least and went ahead and ordered the C&L CAI/SCT Tune from Brenspeed. Installed it yesterday in a matter of a half hour and took it for a test run. Geezus, talk about a difference! THIS is what I expected when I bought a "musclecar". Night and day difference. Noticed an immediate difference from first gear out and had a large s#^@%y grin on my face as I shifted from from one gear to the next. If you have a GT and haven't gotten a setup like this, you're missing out! Definitely the best $$$ I've spent on my car and a great bang for the buck.
Thanks to Brent for a super job.

Did the C&L CAI with Diablosport tune and had a similar experience. Couldn't say if just a good 93 oct. tune would do the same....haven't done it. Mine was $650 complete with tuner. Install is a snap! Even a clutz like me can do it. I may be selling my set up in the near future cause the Supercharger is coming SOOOOOON.

The setup complete with shipping and usb cable included was $675. Worth every penny. Go to Brent website...www.brenspeed.com

Yes, yes and YES! The computer has a good memory and will tell them if it's been changed.
If the dealer wants they can say your modification caused any problems that might arise. Some, especially those that sell and warranty Roush or Saleens, might not hassle you. But you'd still be taking a risk. Remember, this 4.6 and the computer are still new to each other and still have a good share of bugs. If I'd done any mods they could have said the problems were my fault and I would have had to pay for my new engine at 3500 miles!

Does this effect the warranty at all? Do you have to switch in the stock tune again to take it in for service and can they tell?
