Default Lowering springs

Ok, I am looking into doing more road course racing and I really need to drop the car. What brand should I go with. I would really appreciate advice from people who actually have them on their car.

Also, it seems as if it would be a pretty simple install eh?
Also, is re-aligning needed?

thanks

im getting eibach pro's installed wednesday, but i drive on the street in baltimore city, which doesnt have "pretty" potholes or bumps. I hear Eibach is the brand to go with without sacrificing too much ride quality, but if you want it very low 2-2+ then go with the eibach sport kit. Its not a simple install at all. You need a spring compressor and all that crap. Springs can be very scary, plus it shouldnt cost you more than 500 dollars. Im getting mine on for 450.

I bought a set of Tein H springs .09" front & 1.7" rear off ebay for $150 including shipping. Tein has a very good product. The install is very easy! A spring compressor can be obtained at Auto zone for free! Search the forum, there is a step by step install with photos here somewhere. It took me about 1.5 hours total to do it myself.

I've got the Steeda springs...was thinking about the Eibach pro's but still needed to get the car up my driveway so the Steeda's worked perfect (1" drop).
For what its worth to you, I totally upgraded my suspension (see sig) so camber and toe were re-worked for the track.
