Radar Jammers...in the bumper
I think radar jammers are illegal but... technically, couldnt you get a radar jammer in your front bumper and run a small microphone type device up near the dash to let you hear it when it beeps?

If it's a Jammer why need the beep,I mean it's jamming it right?
My brother drives a truck for a living and I asked him about them and he said he has yet to run into someone who say they work like they say they do.
Most of the state cops I talked to say they don't work to good, but I am shure someone will make a better mouse trap.
Funny story in this though, years ago when I was in the army I had a buddy in the AF,seems him and a few freinds got ahold of a gallon of the same paint used on the SR-71,used it on a 78 Trans-Am,tryed to clock it using a gun and as long as the side windows were up it was invisable from the side, some times it would show for a sec or two from the front or back,we figured it was the front window and the flat rear, paint did not last long though peeled and chiped off, weird stuff it reminded me of the spray on bed liner paint crossed with a sponge, real thick also, heavy.

RE: Radar Jammers...in the bumper
Actually there has only been like 1 or 2 RADAR jammers that work. They are highly illegal (if you get caught) but do work. The cost is around $1000-1500 and made by a company I do recall as Tiger Lily Products and the device is called Scorpion "Ultimate" radar jammer. It does infact work and only failed once. It will jam the signal for 10 seconds and then turn itself off so that the error that the radar gun recieves will go away and the cop will get a reading. Again it is highly illegal and you can be fined thousands if you are caught using it.
They also make a laser jammer, they are called the Blinder M-20 and M-40. The 20 is two modules and 40 is 4 modules for bigger vehicles. The Blinder is proven to work and is not illegal.
Why is a Radar Jammer illegal and Laser Jammer not illegal. Easy, Radar is controlled by the FCC. Lasers are not. Of course there is more technical stuff that goes with that but im not about to get into that.
