Default Evo Killer

On Saturday night, I met the driver of an Evo VIII which I ended up challenging. At first I said i'll race for $50, then he said $25, and finally he said just do it for fun. I said okay whatever, anyways we are going to hop on the highway and go from a 45 roll off. I did the three honks and let him go before I hit the gas, once I hear his car go I floor it and take about a car length on him at about 60 then by around 75 I won by about half a car length. He had intake, exhaust, and a blowoff valve. I could've done better I just let him take off first.

Evo down

Be very careful cause those cars can go really fast with a few mods. I posted in the street/strip section last week about an evo I saw at the track (1/8 mile) last week that was running 7.30's with 1.6's 60's - very impressive. He would have walked you.

EDIT - but VERY nice kill...

Yeah, great little performance machines, the front of them even looks pretty nice. It's just too bad that from the A pillar back they're ugly as sin.

From what I hear/know the Evo's don't have much top end anyways. They have very low gearing and a 5 speed. Good race, but I bet that $50 bucks he'd get ya on a hole shot.

It would be an impressive kill if you had raced from a dead stop....
