others you jackass. For your information I happen to work at Burger King 25 hours a week and pay my own insurance, own gas, and own MODS. I'm terribley spoiled for my parents buying me an 06 GT, maybe I should've refused it? Of course making honor roll and getting a scholarship doesn't mean anything to you. By the way I hope your parents bought you a pos car so you can do the same for your kid.

You really should think about becoming a little more mature and stop talking **** about people that are younger. Ultimately your childhood must've really sucked *** if you have to make up for it by putting others down. This really pisses me off that you are that angry with your life and your first car.

I worked 25 hours a week at a restaurant too, I paid for my own insurance, gas, and didn't waste money on mods when I was in high school. You are spoiled for your parents buying you a GT, no you shouldn't have refused it, I'm just saying you ARE spoiled. I too was an honor roll student and turned down a scholarship because the university offering it had nothing I wanted.

One day you'll realise how spoiled you were as a child. Until then, have fun at daddy's tit.

And might I add too, I have nothing to be jealous about, I find my life to be great, I'm not talking "****" about you because you're younger, I'm just saying you are spoiled. My childhood (so far as I can remember) was good, and I don't put people down because of it, I put people down because I'm a guy. Oh, and I LOVED my first car, a 1978 Dodge Aspen, that thing kicked ***, and you can't kill a dodge slant-6 engine , I loved it so much, I've been trying to find another as a daily driver for the winter.

 

LOL, again thats funny because i'm only seventeen and in less than 6 months i'll be running my own business when I turn 18 on my OWN while attending college. If you're look at intelligence, I don't think you are very bright because I have nothing to worry about and am laughing at how successful I am going to be compared to you. I'm not lazy I work my *** off and do what I need to do. Difference between me and you is I don't cry because others have more than me. Do you think I cry about how some kid drives around a Bentley or a BMW 745? I don't think so, take a look at it here and come up with a reality check. You are as spoiled as any 17 year old with a Mustang considering there are people starving right now and you only care about the kid with a Mustang. Why don't you put all your anger towards something good and go to Africa and see how people live there. Have you ever donated a dollar to charity? I highly doubt it, and doubt you have ever spent a single day in church. You act like your childhood was a disaster as if you were in Africa and had absolutely nothing and that is most definately not the case so keep your mouth shut and out of other peoples business. Well then realize your just a spoiled as anyone with a current day Mustang, because in some people's eyes you are beyond spoiled as am I.

 

MY first car was a '82 POS,POS,POS,POs Dodge colt 4 door POS!! I absolutely HATED that car. I didn't want it but that what my father wanted to me to have. That's just the way it was. You got what you got and even thought i was willing to pay for half of another car it didn't matter. Since my car was bought by him who was I to complain you ask?? Well, after 20 years I'm still angry as hell about that car! I took car of it really well. Changed oil every 3k, waxed it every month or so, etc. But that's because I grew up appreciating things I had. Perhaps it's because I didn't have much, that i appreciated the things i had even more. I still pissed that my days of cruisin sucked because no girls gave a second look while next to my friends' Z28, Monte SS, GT, you know. I can never get that time back.

So now at 37 with 2 daughters (3 and 4) my ife occasionally has to restrain me from buying them too much saying that they don't appreciate their toys. After all that's what we're all talking about isn't it..toys? I can tell you it will be a very difficult balance now and in the future to weigh the impulse of giving your children what you didn't have, while teaching respect and values. Good luck to all with kids out there.

That being said, I wish my Dad had Bought me THAT car!!! I know I still would have taken care of it just as I do with my stang now.
