My 500 has not skipped either, but I have noticed that if a song continues into the next track that there is a 1-2 second pause before it continues to play. What's up with that?

Speaking of that, has anyone seen any unit that plays mp3s off a DVD? That would be pretty cool to 80-some albums on one disk. I think load time would be really long though.

Oh, and no problems with my shaker 500 either. It sound pretty good to me for being factory. I ended up putting in my Kenwood excelon deck in anyway. Now it really sounds good.
