Default California Pony Car 10 spoke rims anyone?

Anyone running the 17" CA Pony Car 10 spoke Shelby look rims?

Yeah, I know everyone wants 20" rims, but these 17s are exactly what I want for my GT350H "tribute" version on my 06 GT.
Just curious if anyone has them or had any input.

Thanks,
Mike

What do they look like? Can you post a link? I tried Google and didn't have any luck.

You can see them here:

http://www.mustangproject.com/Catalo...7-0f34c55ccf77

There are also a few pics of them in the recent Mustang Monthly magazine.
They look exactly like the 10 spoke alloy rims form the 1966 Shelby GTs and GTHs but they are 17" instead of the stock size (that I think was a 14")
I was wondering ifg anyone had seen what they look like on a new Mustang.

I would go with the new wheels from shelby. You can get them through your ford dealer. They have 18's and 20's The style you are goin for would be the cs66 18's

www.carrollshelbywheels.com

You can see a lot of pics here I have the 20's and am very pleased but I think the look you are going for would be the cs66 18's will give you a wider wheel too so you can get more meat on the road, also give you room for a break upgrade which 17's won't.

Send us pics when you get it done.

That web address has expired.

Does Shelby make retro looking wheels now?
Last time I checked the Shelby site everything was cool, but a little too modern for the look I'm shooting for.

Thanks,
Mike

Wow thats wierd that the website is gone I tried to yahoo it and its not listed there anymore either. I dont know I really don't. I will keep trying to find it and when I do I'll post it again or PM you. Very strange I just looked at it the other day. But I do believe they will be exactly what you are looking for. 10 spokes and retro. Like I said I love mine you can see them by looking at my posts but the ones I think you want are a little bit different, just a tad more retro. I am sure the website will come back up. Ever since they came out the website has been a real piece of sh8.

Have some patience though I guarantee you this is what you want. With more meat on the road you will be much happier.

I found a pic of the CS67 rims here:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/20-Ca...WDVWQQtcZphoto

I checked out those rims before when the CS web site worked, but at that time they only made 20" versions, and I don't want 20s (loss of HP and the crap roads I drive on) an 18" would be OK. One of the reason I may stay with 17s is that they don't have that much rubber on the road. I traded my 2005 Sti for the Mustang so that I would slow down and that is what I love about the Mustang. It doesn't handle very well and it keeps my speeds down (in the corners at least). If I build up the 06 Mustang to handle then I'll be back in toruble again.

Hopefully the CS web site will come back to life and I'll check out those rims. They are very close to the 1967 Shelby rims, but not like the 1966 rims. Thanks for the info!

Yeah ultimate auto sports I bought from him. I think he can get you the CS66's email Matt at ultimateautosports@earthlink.net
Tell him I sent you and that you are interested in the cs66's and would like to see some photos. I know he can get them for you. I asked him to get me the shelby knockoffs and he was able to come through on those no problem. Although I would advise against doing the same they are plastic and I am not to confident that they will last very long. But it wasn't Matt's fault I blame shelby for that lol.

Good luck
