hooker since they are cheaper and they are true long tube headers. the bassani headers i saw look similar to the MAC brand headers. those are actually a mid-length header which have given lack luster results(10hp). hookers and JBA offer20+hp gains.

hooker 100%. bassani i have heard bad stuff about, like hissing noises and stuff, plus what spyder said. hooker is the name in headers for musclecars; i remember my dad had hooker headers on his 69 trans am. HOOKER HEADERS KICK ***! i am in general indecisive about my exhaust choice, however one thing is clear to me; i will get hooker supercomp long tubes.

What are the diff. going to be with L/T and S/T? Seems like a mid-tube would help be right in the middle.

s/t you will see minimal gain; they help a bit but if your getting headers, L/T will give you the real hp. s/t's are worthless IMO, and if ur gonna go through the hassle of new headers, LT's will give you power for your money.

Will you lose power at low RPM's or only gain it at higher rpm's?

where did you hear about the problems with bassani? I've been told by a couple of people that the reason why bassani is so expensive is due to there fit and finish. Supposedly they are supposed to fit better than any other exhaust out there but keep the opinions coming. The more the better

Bassani is pricey for their finish, fit, name and quality. Havent heard any bad stuff at all. Ive got a friend who has got the Bassani headers and it sounds amazing with the bassani exhaust and fit perfectly. No leaks, good gains, and sounds great.

well the problems i heard were involving their x-pipe and axle back systems; i haven't heard anything positive or negative about their headers. but the general reputation is that bassani is a high end brand. i believe you will get more hp out of hooker supercomp long tubes; i give you 100% no questions ask my vote for hooker. look into it though, there might be more to it.
