melting reflectors are not cool. melting reflectors mean the light emmitted by the bulb is too hot and now the black reflector is melting.

Yes...

Ford went REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY Cheap on the Light Housings of the S197 Stangs. El-Cheapo plastic that will melt if you try to upgrade your fogs or head lamp bulbs to bulbs that are hotter then the factory ones.

Also - if many of you look close, you will note that the reflector of your fog lights has a smokey coating on them. at least the 05's do.

They have "angel eye" fog lights that make the fogs onto a ring type light looks like it might be something to look into if the stock fogs are not to your taste. But im sure the "its rice[sm=icon_blah.gif]" crowd will be all over them. I think mrbodykit.com has them.

Those look pretty cool, but I think they would only look good if you get these to accent them. Not sure how "rice" they would look but it sure would set your car apart ! I Kinda think it would look cool. I duno, I love the way it looks now, but who knows what it could turn out like. Someone buy them and do it so I can see.[sm=icon_cheers.gif]

And even with said smokey coating, my fogs are still much much brighter.

WTF?
